My knee popped while moving a cylinder head at work in the steam room on March 28 and since then Ive had tremendous pain making it hard to think or even keep up with things. Well since then a lot has happened including finally surgery a week ago yesterday (Thursday, June 23) with the doctor scoping my knee removing the damaged meniscus tear. Now I’m in physical therapy getting the full motion back and rebuilding the muscles from the surgery. The ongoing pain from the meniscus tear is gone and now just dealing with the rehab pains of rebuilding. It seems I’m feel like I’m doing pretty good having mostly full motion in my knee now trying to get the muscles built back. I will see the doctor on July 5th finding out my schedule for when I can get back to work.
Well…..it was a better season than what I expected seeing that we lost half our team due to the hard sallery cap but in the end it got pretty exciting. Cogratualtions to Vancouver, wish them luck with the Pred’s……

Went for a long ride on the fatboy yesterday morning. Wasn’t 5 miles from home riding along the river when I felt a sharp sting in the middle of my chest. While riding I kept trying to hit my chest hoping to kill whatever stung me hoping it would’t keep stinging me as I could not pull over and open my shirt. I pulled over and found nothing but the pain from the sting was very real. I just kept on and rode for another 5 miles needing to stop for gas. Almost to the gas station I felt something moving around under my shirt got it out while driving but never really saw what it was. I kept riding along the river as I do quite often trying to keep my mind off the pain. Good ride and kept ahead of the weather all moring.
Nothing better than going for a ride allong the river listening to grunge from my I-phone just escaping from my everyday world for a bit. Too bad the Bee had to enter. I now see I have a 6″ by 3″ red iching like hell spot on my chest this morning so I would guess it was not some little honey bee that stung me yesterday.
I know there is a lot of crap posted here and it doesn’t make a lot of sense so far but we made quite a bit of progress in how to post pictures in a gallery format today. Also got my internal gallery updated to the lates version and am starting to ge a little more familiar with WordPress.
Here is a test for pictures shown using lightbox. Adding some modification
in the html code gives the option of putting a small gallery with lightbox,
I even have the option of putting one picture in the post . Its a clean loook
Here were going to insert text around the pictures to
make it look cleaner. I really like this look and think
this is the way to go. I will just keep typing here to
test this look. I know this is just bullcrud but to
really test this look I need to come up with words
to wrap around the picture here. I could actually
talk about the Deluxe here and how much Jan really liked this bike, but
that would be too easy I guess.
